Perth faves The Faim have a new album coming in hot, and to celebrate, they’ve announced their first Australian tour since 2019.
Hot on the heels of the release of their sophomore record ‘Talk Talk’ on Friday July 8th, the local pop-rock exports will be heading right around Australia for a headlining run of dates, taking in stops in Perth, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide.
“We are so excited to finally be on the road in Australia after three very long years!” multi-instrumentalist Stephen Beerkens comments.
“It’s always incredible to get to play some of our favourite venues in our home country and see so many familiar faces that have supported us since the start. We can’t wait to play songs from our new album Talk Talk live – and, of course, the ‘State of Mind’ tracks we’ve never played before in Australia! Hope to see you there!!”
The tour comes off the back of their 26 date UK+EU Tour which sees the band play at iconic festivals including Download Festival (England) and Rock am Ring/Park (Germany).
Recorded between Los Angeles and Perth, The Faim worked with several big-name producers on Talk Talk including Zakk Cervini (Bring Me The Horizon, Yungblud, Machine Gun Kelly), Erik Ron (Panic! At the Disco, Godsmack, Set It Off), and Matthew Pauling (Palaye Royale, 5 Seconds of Summer, State Champs) to showcase the band’s vast range of styles and tones.
