Singer-songwriter Pete Murray has announced a lengthy national tour for 2018, which will see him play intimate club shows in an acoustic three-piece between June and August.
Murray’s upcoming tour will make its way through regional and metropolitan cities in Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and the ACT, with support sets from rising muso Matthew Armitage.
“I love acoustic tours as it’s always great to strip songs back to their bare bones and do cool versions of them,” says Murray.
“This tour is going to be a lot of fun and will also be a three-piece tour, something I have never done before in Australia.”

Today also marks the release of a new remix of Murray’s song ‘Heartbeats’ from PNAU member Peter Mayes. The remix arrives with an official music video filmed in Murray’s hometown of Byron Bay, which you can check out below.
“I’m excited to try and do things a little differently these days,” says Murray. “This ‘Heartbeats’ remix from Peter Mayes is a fun new thing for me and I’m stoked with how it came out.”
Murray released his latest album Camacho last year.
