Pete Tong Announces Australian ‘Ibiza Classics’ Tour With 65-Piece Orchestra

Legendary British DJ and radio host Pete Tong is heading to Australia later this year to spin Ibiza classics for Aussie audiences at some huge arena shows.

The BBC Radio 1 DJ has been to Australia a number of times before, but he’s never done anything like this. He’ll be performing two huge shows with the 65-piece Heritage Orchestra in Sydney and Melbourne this November.

Together, they’ll run through some of the biggest house and dance tunes from the past few decades. Think Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, Robert Miles and plenty of other tunes that soundtracked your glory days in the club.

Tong’s been performing the ‘Ibiza Classics’ show since 2015 when he debuted it at London’s Royal Albert Hall, but we’re being promised a completely re-worked show for his Aussie visit.

Joined by acclaimed conductor Jules Buckley, expect this to be a perfect collision of dance and classic music. Check out all the dates below.
