Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett is hitting the road sans Oils on his first ever solo tour of Australia.
In celebration of the imminent release of his debut album A Version of Now, the Aussie rock veteran will embark on a regional trek this July and August, supported by his backing band The Alter Egos and special guest, Abbe May.
The reformed polly will perform 12 regional and metro dates across all states and territories except – sadly – Tasmania (sorry guys), including a spot on the Darwin festival.
Fan pre-sale tickets are on sale now, with the General Public sale kicking off from 9am AEST this Friday, 3rd June.
Meanwhile, Garrett’s debut solo LP, A Version Of Now, drops on July 15th.
And there’s even more for Midnight Oil fans to get excited about, with the iconic Aussie rock act promising to reform and tour in 2017.
Let’s hope Garrett used some of his time in office to brush up on his dance moves.
