Pez Finally Announces His New Album ‘Don’t Look Down’

Fans of Australian emcee Pez well be all too aware of the noticeable absence of a follow-up to his 2008 debut album A Mind of My Own . But after years of hushed rumours and scattered updates, the time is now upon us — Pez has announced his follow-up album Don’t Look Down almost a decade later.

The album is slated for a Friday, 4th November release, which is a rapid turn around for the rapper, no doubt keen as a bean to get this bad boy out into the wild. The first single is expected to drop next week. A track has been doing the rounds online now for some years featuring Pez called Don’t Look Down, but it’ll need a solid re-do to be album quality.

Back in March, Pez took to socials to tell fans that his partner in crime 360 was putting him to the coals about the new album, demanding it be released later that mouth “otherwise he’s snatching the masters and putting the shit out himself”.

It may have over shot the late-March deadline by, well, a fair but but what’s a few months between friends?

Pez will be taking the show on the road fairly soon, supporting Thundamentals on their recently announced national tour.
