Grinspoon‘s Phil Jamieson just gave punters at the Townsville leg of Groovin The Moo a red hot surprise as he rode a motorbike on stage to perform with Skegss earlier today.
When Skegss hit the stage at 1:15 this afternoon and performed their track ‘New York California’, Jamieson roared in on the Harley, mounted it centre stage and picked up a guitar to play the track alongside them.
This isn’t the first cover Jamieson’s given us this week, as Grinspoon took to Triple J‘s Like A Version studio to perform a thumping rendition of Chvrches’ ‘Get Out.’
This isn’t even the first time Jamieson has invaded a Groovin The Moo stage to perform with another band. Last year, he joined Violent Soho at the Maitland leg of Groovin The Moo to perform Grinspoon’s 1995 hit ‘More Than You Are.’
