After dropping a dynamite bill into our laps last week, Poison City Weekender has unveiled its official venue lineups for 2015, as well as adding a smattering of extra acts on top of this year’s chosen crop.
The newest additions to the bill, already headed up by Melbourne’s mighty punk rock sons, The Smith Street Band, Clowns, Luca Brasi and The Bennies, are New Zealanders Shiptripper, as well as local kids Jen Buxton & The Slaughterhouse Five, Jess Locke Band, Freak Wave, Hostile Objects, Foxtrot, Rockenspiele, Spencer Scott, Maricopa Wells and Weedy Gonzales.
Weekender Fest will take place across Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September at live music venues across Melbourne, including 170 Russell, The Corner Hotel, The Reverence Hotel, The Old Bar and The Public Bar, with a special show for the under 18’s crowd at The Corner on the Sunday.
Tickets are available for all shows individually, or as a limited Weekender Fest ‘3 Show Pass’, which comes as a special bundle with an A2 screen printed poster and pimpin’ Weekender Fest t-shirt. You can get your hands on those from Friday, 17th April via Poison City Records.
