Well…kinda.
Loveable larrikins Polish Club have announced that they’ve leaked their upcoming album Iguana two weeks early, and they’ve done it an exceptionally unconventional and brilliantly gimmicky way – via polyphonic ringtone.
Via Facebook, the band announced that you can join in on their Nokia polyphonic party by texting a number they provided in case you wanted to relive all your best early 00’s memories.
On top of the ‘leak’, the band legitimately dropped their new single ‘Goddamn!’ today as well.
“’Goddamn!’ was the first song we wrote during the writing process for this record,” the band said in a statement.
“It’s also the most fun. It’s also a song where Novak is pretty much screaming the whole time. It’s also got a title with an exclamation mark. It’s also got heaps of drums and shit on it.”
Iguana is officially out Friday, 7th June. The band will be touring the album next month.
