With their debut album Shake Shiver still fresh in everyone’s ears and off the back of a killer performance at Splendour in the Grass, Brissie five-piece Art of Sleeping definitely aren’t taking time out for a nap, today releasing the brand new video for track Bleeding Out, and Music Feeds has the online premiere for you, right here.
Directed by Nick Maguire the clip takes the title of the song somewhat literally with a whole mess of colours and lights bleeding into an initially drab, monochromatic set.
“We literally wanted the clip to ‘bleed out’ in a progression of grungy black and whites, to a wash of rich and unnaturally saturated tones,” says Maguire of their approach. “To do this, we used a macro lens to film ink mixing with water or milk at a high frame rate – using its movement, colour and texture as the foundation to this bleeding effect.”
Art of Sleeping are also about to set off on an epic Australian tour supporting The Jungle Giants, as well as a part of the Mumford & Sons helmed Gentleman of the Road tour. Grab all the deets below the vid!
