Sydney outfit Lime Cordiale are set to inject some icy cold, colourful refreshment to most of this increasingly thirsty country next week, with the Road To Paradise Tour kicking off November 7, and to gee us all up for the trip, the boys have today released the music vid for single Not That Easy, which Music Feeds is pumped to premiere for you right here.
Filmed during a two-week period throughout Winton, Longreach and Townsville in drought-affected North Queensland, the video sees the guys exploring remote towns, abandoned farms and outback pubs – sharing beers with locals to capture an eye-opening look into the lives of residents living in regional Queensland, whilst raising money for the Drought Appeal.
“North Queensland is an amazing part of the world and the home to some of the most genuine Aussies we’ve ever met. Like much of Australia, it’s greatly affected by drought. It was an eye opener and an honor to help out these legends in the only way we knew how – play some shows! We played three gigs in Central Western Queensland but stayed in the area for nearly two weeks. We sat at pubs and heard heartbreaking stories of people having to leave their homes and of others just managing to cling on to the dry dirt.”
“Although the song was not directly written about the area, the main theme of the song can be related to the struggle and so we’ve decided to dedicate the music video to the Western Queensland Drought Appeal. We want to show the beauty of this part of Australia to our audience – an audience that is primary based in urban or coastal areas.”
