Sydney shooting stars STUMPS have just let fly a rip-snorting new music video for their latest indie rock jam, ‘We’ll Do It Anyway’.
Premiering exclusively via Music Feeds (below), the clip for the triple j Unearthed-frothed track features frontman Kyle Fisher standing between two decorative shrubs and going absolutely ham on a bunch of musical instruments and, uh, a banana.
A simple concept executed to hilariously entertaining perfection.
“The lyrics are about a certain visit I had to Field Day Festival in 2016 amongst the bulging and sculpted giants that roamed the grounds that day,” explains Fisher. “It’s less of a scathing review of festival drug culture and more of an anthropomorphic journal embellished with superhero references.”
The tune marks the third single to be lifted off STUMPS’ firecracker debut EP Just Another Stay At Home Son, following on from previously released jams ‘Piggyback’ and ‘This Home is Mine’.
Catch the fresh visuals for ‘We’ll Do It Anyway’ premiering below, and catch the band performing it live when they head out on tour across April and May.
