Excellent Brooklyn pair Prince Rama have revealed that a new album is on the way. Trust Now, their fifth LP in all, will come out on October 4 (US). The record was recorded in a church with Arcade Fire and Animal Collective producer Scott Colburn. Prince Rama (also known as Prince Rama Of Ayodhya) are signed to Animal Collective’s Paw Tracks label.
Trust Now marks the follow-up to their 2010 album Shadow Temple, their first LP, Threshold Dances, coming out in 2007. Prince Rama are made up of sisters Taraka and Nimai Larson. They were once joined by third member Michael Collins, who has left the sisters to themselves for this LP. A sample of their wares can be found below.
