Puddle Of Mudd Frontman Claims He Was Wrongfully Arrested

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin is claiming that he was wrongfully arrested and suffered bruises from Police following his alleged altercation with a flight attendant.

Scantlin was arrested on September 4 as a result of the alleged altercation, which led to the Jet Blue flight diverting to Austin, Texas, instead of its intended flight path from Boston to Los Angeles.

Reports suggested that Scantlin was intoxicated and threw a fit when a flight attendant refused to serve him a beer.

However, in a new video interview with TMZ, Scantlin said he was sober when he tried to purchase a single beer on the flight.

“When a grown man cannot purchase a beer on a five-hour flight from Boston to LA, then the airlines are completely losing their minds,” he said.

“I was arrested for being sober on an airplane, trying to purchase a beer on Jet Blue.”

Scantlin added that he felt like having a beer after a two-hour nap and that the flight attendant got “an attitude” with him.

On arrival in Austin, Scantlin claims that he was roughed up by cops at the airport – lifting up his shirt to show TMZ’s cameraman his bruises, as shown in the image above.
