Queens of the Stone Age have unveiled their hell-raising video for Smooth Sailing, a track from 2013’s …Like Clockwork. Directed by Hiro Murai, the video sees frontman Josh Homme leading a group of reckless businessmen out on a debauchery-filled night on the town.
The video follows Homme and his colleagues as they let off some steam in a night of depraved antics, which includes but is not limited to alcohol-fuelled karaoke, drink driving and beating the life out of someone with a golf-club.
The dark video is befitting of the displaced anger on display in the …Like Clockwork track. Homme has recently said that his band will record the follow-up to their highly-acclaimed 2013 record later this year, adding that they have “more than enough songs” for a new LP.
