Angus & Julia Stone, Hoodoo Gurus, Kate Miller-Heidke and Paul Dempsey top the mammoth first announcement of the 2015 Queenscliff Music Festival.
This 19th instalment of the annual live music gathering at the coastal Victorian town will also feature performances by singer-songwriter John Williamson, the monumental Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Go-Betweens co-founder Robert Forster and a stash of other rising-star Aussie talent, including the likes of Harts, Kingfisha, Oka, Ainslie Wills and Hey Frankie.
Festival Director Andrew Orvis says they’ve been perfecting the formula for the perfect lineup. “We’re really concentrating on getting the balance right for our punters,” he says. “It’s all about quality music, great shows, comfy surrounds, yummy food & drinks, in beautiful historic Queenscliff and all right on the shores of Port Phillip Bay.”
As well as packing an eclectic bill of some of Australia’s biggest name acts, including songstress Kate Miller-Heidke’s only Victorian solo show for 2015, this year’s event is promising even more big-name acts to come, when the second lineup announcement drops on 20th July.
Queenscliff Music Festival 2015 will run from Friday 27th – Sunday 29th November. Early bird tickets are on sale now, check out the full festival details below.
