Joining the orchestra on the night will be a star-studded lineup of other Australian stage and screen legends including TV presenter David Campbell (who first met Newton-John while working on the Johnny O’Keefe musical Shout), Jess Hitchcock, Queenslander Georgina Hopson and Christie Whelan Browne (who played the role of Olivia Newton-John in the 2015 mini-series Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door). They’ll be performing all of Liv’s iconic hits including ‘Let’s Get Physical’, ‘Xanadu’, ‘Magic’, ‘I Honestly Love You’, ‘Make a Move on Me’, ‘You’re the One That I Want’, and of course – ‘Hopelessly Devoted to You’.

“It’s such an honour to be performing in this wonderful tribute to my beautiful friend Olivia,” Campbell said in a press statement. “We are going to sing, dance, cry and celebrate her brilliant life with the QSO.”

Newton-John – who was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2002 – passed away at her ranch in Southern California last year. Aged 73, news of her death prompted an outpouring of tributes from around the world. “You made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible,” her Grease co-star John Travolta wrote on Instagram.
