Rare Finds – Sydney’s much frothed-on monthly indie nightclub – has just doubled its commitment to supporting the nation’s best emerging artists.
They’ve officially raised the stakes from one to two – count ’em two – bashes per month, kicking off from August of this year.
And to pop the cork on their new bi-monthly format, the party starters are teaming up with month-long charity festival OXJAM for a pair of ace events.
First up, headlining Rare Finds’ #17 will be Sydney-based indie-electro group The Khanz launching their brand new single, with support from local electro-poppers MOZA and indie-rockers The Harry Heart Chrysalis, with Hey Geronimo DJs spinning records on the night.
While Rare Finds #18 will be headed up by Brisbane indie-pop sweethearts Babaganouj launching their hot new EP Hard To Be, with support from Ross Henry, indie-rock upstarts Hot Spoke and Night High Records guy/media mogul Nic Kelly manning the decks.
The gigs will go down on Friday, August 12th and 19th respectively, at Rare Finds’ ancestral home of Oxford Arts Factory in Darlinghurst.
And to boot, all proceeds from both events will be donated to help OXJAM Australia’s work to end poverty so WHAT MORE DO YOU EVEN NEED?
Jump on all the details below and fang a “Going” on their Facebook event why don’t ya?
