Refused Announce Australian Tour Dates With Sick Of It All

Now a couple of years since news of their reunion, it would appear that Refused aren’t going anywhere just yet. The punk rock geniuses have announced a run of headline Australian tour dates for January 2017.

The Swedes are digging in deep for the tour, hitting both Adelaide and Perth, rather than just the usual East Coast suspects, no doubt one of the reasons this band managed to maintain an intimidating fanbase Down Under and the world over.

Back in 2012, Refused announced that they would be strapping up and plugging in for a run of reunion shows. Just last year, they revealed that they would be releasing a new body of work – their first in about 17 years. At the time, they were confirmed for Soundwave 2016 but instead of that they’ll be doing it on their own.

The shows will be an absolute punk-rock haven with legends of the genre Sick Of It All joining them on the road to celebrate their 30th anniversary as a band. Our very own hell-raises High Tension are also going along for the rise.

UPDATE 10/10/16: Refused have added a second and final Melbourne show to their upcoming Australian tour. Details below.
