Festival promoters Disktrict have unveiled the lineup for the 2014 instalment of the Return To Rio festival, set to take over New South Wales’ Wisemans Ferry this November. The eclectic mix of international and local acts on the lineup features the likes of Lithuanian producer Ten Walls, who is making his Australian debut, and Sydney duo Yolanda Be Cool.
Also making his first Australian performance at Return To Rio is Berlin DJ and producer Martin Enke with his project Lake People. British DJ Laura Jones will also play alongside Gavin Herlihy, Shamen front-man Mr C Superfreq, MC Scallywag of Spiral Tribe and local stalwarts Simon Caldwell, Ken Cloud and many, many more.
Punters will also have their shot at the limelight at the Have A Go Disco, taking place on the festival’s brand new third stage. Simply bring your favourite tunes along on CD, USB, iPod or phone and hosts Goodwill and Duncan Fellows will piece together a collective dance party.
In addition to the music, an action packed itinerary of alternative amusement will also be on offer. Return To Rio 2014 is set to feature water aerobics, meditation, reiki and yoga, VJs, light installations and impromptu performances plus a slew of camping options and luxurious accommodation.
