Rex Orange County Has Announced More Shows In Sydney And Brisbane For His Aussie Tour Next Year

Last week, English songwriter Alexander O’Connor – better known as Rex Orange County – announced a slew of headline Australian dates for May and June 2020.

The announcement arrived at the same time as the release of third studio album Pony, his major label debut and the follow-up to 2017’s Apricot Princess. The album was written, recorded and performed almost entirely by O’Connor himself alongside frequent collaborator Ben Baptie.

Tickets for next year’s tour went on sale to the public yesterday, and have been snapped up pretty quickly – with shows in Sydney and Brisbane selling out in a hot second.

Never fear if you missed out, though. Second and final shows have been added in both Sydney and Brisbane in response to the demand.

You’ll now have an extra chance to catch Rex at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on Wednesday, 3rd June and at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on Sunday, 7th June.
