Rick Ross Makes His Tiny Desk Debut

For just the second time in his career, Rick Ross has absolutely rocked it with a live band. Taking to NPR’s famed Tiny Desk Concert, the American rapper laid down some of his most beloved hits, including ‘Super High’, ‘BMF (Blowin’ Money Fast)’ and ‘I’m Not A Star’, with the help of some friends.

Filmed in the gallery space of Ross’ longtime pal Rich B Caliente, he jazzed up the scene with a gold throne that screams luxury.

Background singers Troy Tyler and Elijah Blake provide some silky vocals throughout that guide Ross’ relentless rap style, providing RnB textures in amongst the palpable, hyped energy of the mini-concert.

It’s basically as high-energy as you’d expect from a Rick Ross live performance.
