Ridin’ Hearts Festival has announced the line-up for its second annual iteration, after recently announcing that the festival would return. The country music festival will take place across the first weekend of November 2024, in both Sydney and Melbourne. Headlining this year’s festival will be Riley Green, who will be performing in Australia for the first time as part of the line-up. Hailing from Jacksonville, Alabama, the singer-songwriter released a seven-track EP entitled Way Out Here back in April. It followed on some six months after his most recent studio album Ain’t My Last Rodeo, Green’s second album, in October 2023.

Other international visitors on the line-up include North Carolina native Cooper Alan and two Canadian artists: Hamilton’s Josh Ross, making his Australian debut, and Medicine Hat’s MacKenzie Porter. Alan came to Australia just a matter of months ago to perform at this year’s CMC Rocks festival, while Porter returns for her first Australian shows since October of 2022.
Susan Heymann, the CEO of Frontier Touring – who are putting on the festival – noted her excitement at Ridin’ Hearts’ return in a press statement. “The response to our debut last year was incredible,” she said. “We can’t wait to come back to Sydney and Melbourne with a line-up curated for the country enthusiasts, the country curious and anyone just looking to have a great day out.”
