CONTENT WARNING: The following article discusses alleged rape and sexual misconduct.
ORIGINAL STORY: Riff Raff (real name Horst Christian Simco) has denied a series of recent rape and sexual allegations in a video posted to Instagram.
The Texan rapper’s scheduled Australian tour was cancelled earlier this month, after Melbourne woman Eliza Stafford accused Riff Raff of raping her in 2013. A second woman, American Kelsey Doucette, later accused Riff Raff of sexual misconduct in 2015.
In his Instagram video, which appears to be taken from an upcoming film called ‘Trial By Media’ by director Sarah B. Downey, Riff Raff says, “Never once have I forced a girl to have sex. Never once have I forced a girl to do any type of drugs. I don’t want to have a girl drunk and sleepy.”
In the caption of the video, Riff Raff writes:
“RiFF RAFF SELECTED TO STAR AS LEAD ROLE iN NEW MOTiON PiCTURE FiLM ‘TRiAL BY MEDiA’ ABOUT HOW FALSE ALLEGATiONS ARE THE NEW EASY WAVE FOR PEOPLE TO LiE AND QUiCKLY GET THEiR NAME iN THE MEDiA BY USiNG BLOOD THiRSTY COPY & PASTE LAZY JOURNALiST AT THE EXPENSE OF ACTUAL ARTiSTS, ATHLETES & HiGH PROFiLE EASY TARGET PARTY MOGULS. The video comes after Riff Raff posted a screenshot of a text message to his Instagram account, which appeared to be about the allegations. The post was later deleted.
