Rise Against Announce Intimate One-Off Perth Headline Show

Rise Against have given Perth fans a rare treat, announcing that the Western Australian capital will play host to a surprise one-off headline show, their only one in Australia, on Saturday 7th March.

The juggernaut punks are currently in the passenger seat for the Foo Fighters’ Sonic Highways tour, which has already hit packed arena dates in Brisbane and Sydney, before hitting Melbourne this Saturday.

But lucky Perth fans will now get the exclusive chance to see the Chicago four-piece in an intimate club date, the night before the Foo Fighters’ tour wraps with a monster show at the city’s nib Stadium, with an exclusive headline performance now locked in at Amplifier Bar on Saturday, March 7th.

Tickets go on sale from 10am local time next Monday, 2nd March. Check out Rise Against’s other forthcoming tour dates alongside Foo Fighters right here.

It seems the melodic hardcore lads are just full of surprises. Today’s Perth announcement follows an extra special performance at ANZ Stadium overnight with the Fooies, that saw them wheel out an unexpected guest star, ex-My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way, to perform a rousing cover of The Misfits’ classic Astro Zombies.
