Following the success of their Halloween-themed party last year, those lovely ladies from Rollergirl Promotions are back with another bash at UNSW’s The Roundhouse, this time turning their tastes toward the tropical – their Roller Disco Tiki Party will open its doors on 2nd March, and is set to be a great night full of tiki lamps, disco tunes, coconuts, live art pieces, grass skirts and, of course, the very finest in roller skating fun.
The party kicks off at 7pm and the night promises a wealth of entertainment, including tasty disco beats spun by Catlyf, Dee, Rich People and Mr Dobailina, live art from Crisis, Baker and 5rob, as well as a photo booth and a beer garden for all you smokers. Punters are encouraged to dress in their finest tiki gear, with prizes for the best dressed attendees being announced during the night.
Of course, what would a roller disco be without skates?! You don’t have to skate (partypooper) but if you want to ride the night away on 8 wheels feel free to bring your own, or hire some at the venue on the night.
