Australian alt-dance trio RÜFÜS DU SOL are heading out on a national tour in November and December 2022.
The tour includes shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. Tickets went on-sale today, but pre-sale demand was so high that the band have already added extra shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
They’ll play at Sydney’s Domain on Saturday, 3rd December (in addition to 2nd December) and Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on Friday, 16th December (in addition to 15th December)
The tour is in support of the Sydney band’s latest album, Surrender, which topped the ARIA charts in late October. It’s the group’s fourth album in total and third to make it to the number one spot. The trio of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt recently performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and appeared at major US festivals, Austin City Limits and Outside Lands, San Francisco.
RÜFÜS DU SOL are up for Best Group and Best Dance Release at this year’s ARIA Awards.
