Rufus Wainwright has announced a run of Australian tour dates throughout September 2012. He’ll be bringing his full band back, including songwriters Krystle Warren and Teddy Thompson, who will rotate as support acts for the tour. Wainwright has just released his 7th album Out of This Game, which was produced by Mark Ronson and challenges the boundaries between pop and soul, with a touch of jazz.
Rufus Wainwright last toured Australia in October 2010 after he cancelled his March 2010 tour dates due to the illness of a family member. The full 8-piece band recently performed the title track from the new album live on Conan; you can check out the footage below:
