Iconic all-female hip hop outfit Salt N Pepa will reunite with Australian fans soon as a part of the massive Falls Festival, Southbound and Field Day lineups and have now announced the addition of a one-off Melbourne headline show to their tour schedule.
Cheryl James (Salt), Sandra Denton (Pepa) and their partner in crime DJ Spinderella will kick off their Australian summer tour by taking the stage at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Saturday, 27th December 2014.
This Australian trip follows sold out shows in 2011 and 2013, jam packed with classics such as Let’s Talk About Sex, Shoop, Whatta Man and Tramp.
Taking the stage alongside Salt N Pepa for this special Melbourne show will be beloved Australian ’90s outfit CDB, most noted for their 1995 cover of Let’s Groove by Earth, Wind & Fire. All four members of CDB will be reuniting for one exclusive show only.
