It’s been a while since we had a new San Cisco album to sink our teeth into, but now the much beloved Australian band have finally given us the taste of their upcoming record with brand new song ‘Skin’.
The song is the first bit of new music we’ve had since the band dropped one off single ‘When I Dream’ last year, and serves as the lead single from the follow up to 2017’s The Water.
Frontman Jordi Davieson says that “Skin is about being left by a partner that was meant to be ‘forever’.”
“Being frustrated with the fact you have no control of the situation and living at the mercy of your soon to not be lover’s decisions. You still see a small glimmer of hope, but ultimately it’s over.”
To celebrate the release of the new single, the now three piece band are taking it on the road with a nationwide tour next month. There’ll be dates in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Newcastle, Sydney and Perth.
