Say Sayonara To Summer At Melbourne’s Summer Sounds Festival

UPDATE 23/02/21: Changes have been made to the dates for Melbourne’s Summer Sounds Festival.

With the Adelaide Summer Sounds Festival currently in full swing, the festival’s organisers have today announced that they’ll be seeing out the summer in style with a mammoth Melbourne run that will be kicking off at the end of February. The series will be saying sayonara to summer at one of Melbourne’s most iconic venues – the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

The festival have punters’ health and safety at the forefront of its organisation with COVID-safe plans in place across the entire festival. This means that you’ll book a private area for you and your pals in groups of two, four or six. You can choose from private decks, stall tables or balcony seats, with all coming at a different cost.

Kicking off on Thursday, February 25th, the first night will see Ball Park Music and Thelma Plum taking to the stage. For the Friday, 26th February show, they’ve nabbed rock gods King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Tropical Fuck Storm.

Backing that up on Saturday 27th, February will be Bernard Fanning and Something For Kate. And finally, for the series finale taking place on Thursday, 4th March, Hottest 100 runners up Spacey Jane will be hitting the stage alongside RAT!Hammock.

Special guests who are yet to be announced will be performing at all events too.

Presale starts tomorrow at 12pm, with tickets going on sale on Monday at 9am.
