Brazilian thrash metal legends Sepultura have announced their return to Australia for a 2018 tour in support of their latest album, Machine Messiah.
Armed with a stack of new songs from their latest full-length effort, the band have locked in headline shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth in May, as the follow-up to their 2014 Australian tour behind previous album The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart.
Supporting Sepultura’s 2018 Aussie tour will be Californian thrash metal outfit Death Angel, who’ll be performing off the back of their latest album The Evil Divide.
Sepultura co-founders Max & Iggor Cavalera toured Australia earlier this year, for the 20th anniversary of the band’s classic 1996 album Roots, but neither are still members of the band.
