One of the most bad-ass Brazilian metal outfits of all time, Sepultura, have today shared the initial details for their forthcoming album The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart. Fans can now marvel at the official album artwork and get a glimpse at the official tracklist.
Saying that this release is highly anticipated would be a massive understatement. The band has once again teamed up with producer Ross Robinson, who worked on their 1996 album Roots, often considered their greatest release from the band. In other words, the last time the two worked together, they made an album that shifted more than 2 million copies.
The new album will be released hand-in-hand with a DVD documentary funded by the Kickstarter campaign they initiated back in April. The doco has been cut from footage shot as they wrote and recorded 2011’s Kairos and their subsequent world tour.
No word yet on an Australian street date, but The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart has an international release set for Tuesday, 28th October. Check out the tracklist and album artwork below.
