Frequent visitors to our sun-drenched shores, Sharon Jones and the inimitable Dap Kings are once again on their way out here to deliver their raucous brand of funk-fuelled soul.
Often referred to as the female James Brown, Sharon Jones is a one-woman party, and with The Dap Kings on board as well you can be sure these shows will be some of the most high-energy, danciest, boot-scooting hootenannies of 2010.
Having released their latest album I Learned The Hard Way in April of this year, the band who are famous for their dedication to analog recording and equipment rather than succumbing to the digital revolution, have been gathering a larger and larger following over their four-album career, with their most recent run of shows being hailed as their best so far.
If you’re a fan of funk, soul or rhythm and blues, be sure not to miss out on this explosive tour.
