As reported by Music Feeds earlier this week, Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward looks unlikely to join the band reunion world tour due to an unacceptable contract; while speculation has arisen that Sharon Osbourne actually fired Ward.
Gibson.com has reported that Sharon Osbourne has denied the accusations. Taking to her Twitter account Sharon, who has managed her husband’s solo career for 30 years, posted the following statement.
“I am not in any position to hire or fire anyone in Black Sabbath. I don’t manage the band, I manage my husband.”
No matter the reason for Ward’s exclusion, fans have spoken out on Facebook, creating the page ‘1,000,000 Black Sabbath Fans Say Yes To Bill Ward’. So far the page has just over 35,000 likes.
