New Zealand rock legends Shihad (once known as Pacifier) are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, and to celebrate, they’ve announced a massive Australian tour.
Not only is the band celebrating its 30th year of being together, but 2019 also marks the 20th anniversary of the initial release of their seminal album The General Electric. To celebrate that, the band will release the album on vinyl for the very first time on 12th October 2018.
The band’s Australian tour, happening in November 2018, will hit Perth, Fremantle, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney, before wrapping things up in Melbourne.
As well as this tour, Shihad are also playing a bunch of dates next year as part of the Hotter Than Hell tour.
Shihad’s current lineup features Jon Toogood, Tom Larkin, Phil Knight and Karl Kippenberger, and released their latest album FVEY in 2014. Check out all the dates, venues and ticketing details for the band’s 30th anniversary Australian tour, below.
