Byron Bay rockers Skegss have announced a 2018 national tour in support of their new single ‘Up In The Clouds’ — the lead single from their upcoming debut album.
The first new material from frontman Benny Reed, bassist Toby Cregan and drummer Jonny Lani since 2017’s Holiday Food EP, ‘Up In The Clouds’ is “about being unsure but realising it’s OK to have uncertainty and it’s regular”, say the band.
“Some things will always be left uncertain. As soon as we figured that out we made a song about it.”
Skegss will be taking their latest material on the road for under 18s, all ages and 18+ shows across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide this June. They’re also set to perform at Groovin The Moo and Splendour In The Grass in the coming months.
Check out all the tour dates and ticket details (and stream ‘Up In The Clouds’), below.
Skegss will release their debut album through Ratbag Records later this year, and it’s expected to feature some backing vocals from singer-songwriter Alex The Astronaut.
