After a prolonged bout of hiccups celebrated Brisbane avant pop-ists Skinny Jean are preparing for the national release of their long awaited and epic debut album Dolce Doggerel on Friday 11 September.
But before the album as main course Skinny Jean will serve up a tasty entree of hors d’oeuvres when they return to Sydney to launch their single ‘Anhedonia’ at the iconic Hopetoun Hotel on Saturday 29 August.
The Sydney show is part of a tri-state sojourn with like-minded Sydney psychedelic pop kids Deep Sea Arcade. The tour began this week in Melbourne and will wind up when Skinny Jean contemplate a return to their home base in Brisbane on Saturday 5 September where the tour will conclude with a bang at Brisbane indie rock party headquarters the X&Y Bar.
