Slash Announces Second Solo Album Details

Former Guns N Roses axe-man Slash is set to release his second solo record Apocalyptic Love via his own label DikHayd International on May 21, 2012.

NME has repoted that Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge will be providing the vocals for Apocalyptic Love. Kennedy has previously worked with Slash on the guitarist’s first self-titled solo record and was the frontman during Slash’s 2010-11 world tour.

Speaking of tours, Slash will be playing live as part of the Ozzy and Friends European Tour. As Music Feeds previously reported the Ozzy and Friends tour will replace the intended Black Sabbath reunion tour, which was cancelled due to concerns over Tony Iommi’s battle with lymphoma.

In Gun N Roses news the original band, including Slash, will come together in April to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Unfortunately there are no official plans for any live performances.
