The pop duo, Slenderbodies, released their new single titled ‘Sunny Eyes’ on Friday, 28th June.
This track is a part of their upcoming new album ‘The Sugar Machine’ which is all set to be dropped on 6th September, 2024. This album will be their fourth released album.
Slenderbodies- ‘Sunny Eyes’
The track ‘Sunny Eyes’ is a captivating expedition of nostalgia and the complexities that one goes through while growing up. The song invites all their admirers to come and explore their signature airy and crazy sonic universe.
While talking about the album, Slenderbodies explains the following “Through the sugar machine, we attempt to access the awe of discovery that we can never quite hold onto, a perspective that is temporally limited, yet a curiosity we perpetually yearn for.”
Slenderbodies consists of Max Vehuni and Benji Cormack. They spent the last two years of their lives exploring the feeling of sadness caused due to the youth that they lost. The song ‘Sunny Eyes’ invites the listeners to dive into an energetic and extremely happy sound that continues with their music’s breezy and silky grooves.
‘Sunny Eyes’ is the follow-up of their single, ‘Youth’ and both will be included in the album ‘The Sugar Machine’. The album is all about the sad journey that one has to go through to grow into an adults. The album becomes a way through which the singers try to peek into their childhood and dive into their carefree selves.
