With just over a week left until Knotfest 2024 reigns riffs down Australia’s East Coast, organisers have made a big announcement about next year’s event. Maggots who’ve been grumbling about the notable absence of Slipknot on the Aussie leg of the metal icons’ 2024 lineup will be stoked to hear that The Nine have confirmed they will be returning to our shores for the 2025 event, in honour of their 25th anniversary as a band.
What’s more, fans who are heading to Knotfest’s 2024 outing will have first dibs on tickets for next year.
“If you haven’t purchased your tickets to KNOTFEST 2024, now Is the time!”
“We’re stoked to announce the return of SLIPKNOT for KNOTFEST 2025 to celebrate their 25th Anniversary, together with a huge line-up to be announced later in the year,” organisers said in a press statement.
“Only KNOTFEST 2024 ticketholders will receive exclusive access to the first release of tickets to KNOTFEST 2025, which will be prior to all other presales,” they continued. “If you haven’t purchased your tickets to KNOTFEST 2024, now is the time!”
The Slipknot-less 2024 event will be hitting Sydney later this month with a controversially dude-stacked lineup featuring Pantera, Disturbed, Lamb of God and more.
