Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor is the latest musician to pay tribute to the late, great Prince.
Taylor performed an epic cover of Purple Rain at the opening of a solo show in The Purple One’s home town of Minneapolis. Not the first time Taylor has covered Prince, having played Little Red Corvette at previous shows, he’s clearly a huge fan.
He’s also clearly played the song before (or at least sung it in the shower like all of us did this morning through tears) as he absolutely nails it, which as anyone who’s ever attempted this at karaoke knows, is no easy feat.
