Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Responds To Reports Percussionist Chris Fehn Is Suing The Band

Following reports yesterday that Slipknot percussionist, Chris Fehn is suing the band, frontman, Corey Taylor has responded via Twitter, saying, “JUST YOU WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT.”

Reports came out yesterday that Fehn had filed a lawsuit against his bandmates, Slipknot, saying he hadn’t been compensated properly for years of touring with the group.

Fehn says he’s always been told that money from merch and touring in funnelled through the one company and the profits are split to pay members of the band. He alleges he recently discovered his bandmates set up other business entities for Slipknot in different states that collect money.

Saying he was unaware of the separated companies, Fehn claims he never received money from them — specifically calling out Shawn Crahan and Corey Taylor.

Now Fehn wants full forensic accounting completed on Slipknot’s companies and assets, wanting to receives ‘damages and profits’ he reckons he’s owed.

Now, we’re up to speed on that — Corey Taylor has vaguely tweeted about it.

Taylor says, “You’re gonna read a lot of bullshit today. This is all I’ll say. JUST YOU WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT.”

Tying off with, “Long Live The Knot.”

Chris Fehn is known his Pinocchio-esque mask and has performed in Slipknot since 1998, contributing to all of their albums.

Slipknot’s sixth studio album is set for release Friday 9th August this year and they’re touring Australia this October with Metallica.
