More weekend entertainment from those music fantatics at the Beresford Hotel this week.
Tonight, Friday 7 October, Slow Down Honey top the bill. A band formed by two friends who’ve been playing music before reaching double digit ages, they’ve played seaside clubs and private parties throughout their teens. They’re ably supported by The Ruminaters, who cross early Kings of Leon with The Libertines, or as their bio describes it “beatnik barnyard hillbilly swamp”. Toucan are first support and DJ Lancelot will be playing the tunes.
Saturday 8 October is headed by Box Rockets. Hailing from Melbourne, this three-year-old melodic pop rock group are touring in support of their new No Control EP. They’re supported by high-powered rock trio, Tracksuit from Perth, WA. DJ Magic Happens will be entertaining inbetween bands and the night continues with Collective Sound System from 10pm.
