As we reported yesterday, The Smashing Pumpkins have announced they will tour Australia in October. Billy last visited in 2008 but since then he has recruited Mike Byrne, a new 20-year-old drummer as well as former Veruca Salt and Spinnerette bassist Nicole Fiorentino into the Smashing Pumpkins line-up
The band has been releasing the 44-song series Teargarden by Kaleidyscope, with tracks being issued free online one at a time.

Tuesday 12 October – Riverside Theatre, Perth
Wednesday 13 October – The Theatre, Adelaide
Friday 15 October – Festival Hall, Melbourne
Saturday 16 October – Big Top, Sydney
Sunday 17 October – The Tivoli, Brisbane
Tickets on sale 12 noon Thursday 16th September.
