The Smashing Pumpkins have unveiled a spooky (and customarily weird) music video for their latest single ‘Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)’.
The clip, directed by frontman Billy Corgan and longtime visual collaborator Linda Strawberry, sees Corgan and his bandmates James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin and Jeff Schroeder spend the night in a haunted house as part of a charity promotion, at the request of radio host Jackie Cherry, who is played by Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath.

The Smashing Pumpkins released ‘Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)’ in September, as the latest taste of their upcoming reunion album Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun., which is set for release on 16th November.
The band have been touring North America recently, but prospects for an Australian tour don’t look great, after Corgan suggested that local promoters aren’t interested in bringing the Pumpkins down under.
