As any good traveller will know, it’s always good to have some cash on you at all times when abroad, as you never know when you’ll need to drop some stacks in a foreign country where your credit card might not do the trick, something Snoop Dogg has taken to the expectedly next level, being held up at the border of Italy with over $400,000 in cash on him.
The second in a string of whoopsies during his current European tour, after being arrested on suspicion of drug use in Sweden the other day, Snoopy Snoop was boarding a private jet after his concert in Calabria and failed to declare the ridic amount of cash moneys, which contravenes the EU law for declaring amounts of 10,000 euros.
Half of the $422,000 (US) was confiscated by Italian police, but most of it will be returned to the rapper minus a penalty for failing to declare it.
“We clarified everything from a legal point of view,” lawyer Andrea Parisi has told the press. “The money came from concerts he had performed around Europe. There was no crime; it was just an administrative infraction.”
Snoop is set to play the Kendall Calling music festival in the UK today, hopefully his European police run-ins don’t come in threes.
