Snow Patrol Announce 2018 Sydney Headline Show

Fresh from announcing a Melbourne show and a headline performance at Sydney’s first-ever AIR + STYLE Festival, Irish rockers Snow Patrol have announced a Sydney headline show at ICC Sydney’s Darling Harbour Theatre.

Going down on Saturday, 4th August, the show comes after the group perform at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Thursday, 2nd August, and will be part of the band’s first Australian tour since 2012.

This time around, the band will be performing tracks from their latest album Wildness, which was released in May.

“There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all its confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness,” says lead singer and songwriter Gary Lightbody.

“Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other. This is the kind of wildness the album is centreed around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it. To remember it.”
