Solange Responded To Beyoncé’s Grammy Loss By Tweeting Out Frank Ocean’s Rant About The Awards

Solange won a Grammy Award today for Best R&B Performance for ‘Cranes In The Sky’ but she seemingly wasn’t happy that her sister Beyoncé lost Album Of The Year to Adele.

Within moments of the announcement, Solange tweeted a link to Frank Ocean’s tumblr post from yesterday where he went in on the Grammy Awards.

“You know what’s really not ‘great TV’ guys? 1989 getting Album Of The Year over To Pimp A Butterfly,” he wrote after the Grammy organisers said that his performance back in 2013 was “faulty”.

Ocean never submitted his album for consideration and therefore was not nominated for any awards.

“WADDUP FRANK,” Solange wrote alongside the link to his Tumblr post.

Adele won Album Of The Year for her third album 25 but even she said she couldn’t accept the award because she felt that Beyoncé’s Lemonade deserved it.

Ocean and Beyoncé have collaborated on numerous occassions. He features on her track ‘Superpower’ and she sang backup on ‘Pink + White’ off his most recent record Blonde.
