After a week of teasing that something was coming, Solange has gone and given us her new album When I Get Home with mere hours of warning.
When I Get Home is the follow up to 2016’s stunning A Seat At The Table. She has also just released an accompanying film of the same, available on Apple Music.
Birds of a feather truly flock together, as this release strategy is very reminiscent of the one used by Solange’s sister, Beyoncé, for her 2016 album Lemonade. Both sisters won Grammys for their 2016 albums at the 2017 ceremony.
Solange was last in the country as the headliner for Vivid Live last year, selling out four consecutive nights at the Sydney Opera house.
