The humungous Spectrum Now festival program just got even more humungous with the addition of Aussie rock veterans Something For Kate.
The Melbourne trio will be performing an exclusive ‘greatest hits’ set for one night only in The Domain’s iconic Big Top on March 12th.
Frontman Paul Dempsey, bass player Stephanie Ashworth and drummer Clint Hyndman will be reuniting to perform during the 11-night run of ticketed live music events curated by Secret Sounds (Splendour in the Grass, The Falls Music & Arts Festival), alongside Missy Higgins, Hot Dub Time Machine, The Jesus & Mary Chain (UK), Godspeed You! Black Emperor (Cananda), Birds Of Tokyo, Calexico (USA), Augie March, Seekae, U.S. Girls (USA) Alvvays (Canada) Jonathan Boulet, Rockwiz Live and more.
The second annual Spectrum Now festival runs for a whopping 16 days and recently unveiled its full 2016 program.
Altogether, organisers are promising more than one hundred “unexpected experiences” across Sydney, to “spotlight the city’s creative heart and soul through four festival categories of art, music, stage and talks”.
